Caffeine addiction is not a joking matter...unless it's in reference to one of the most memorable of all episodes: Jessie's pill addition. While enjoying a Sunday brunch my grandmother offered my sister a cup of coffee, as a good older brother I am trying to ensure that my sister does not fall victim to caffeine addiction at a young age. We discussed the seriousness of the issue and discussed how "unfunny" Jessie's addiction to caffeine pills was while trying to balance school and her new found musical talent...there's nothing more classic than Jessie falling into Zack's arms singing "I'm so excited! I'm so excited...I'm so scared."
Lesson learned: Sitcom writers often use caffeine pill addiction to scare teens...remember Fresh Prince of Bel-Air?
